Titans' WR Gage doubtful against Cardinals

by Associated Press (November 27th, 2009 @ 6:05pm)

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Justin Gage did some running on the side Friday, though the Tennessee Titans wide receiver still has not practiced since a Nov. 8 back injury against San Francisco.

Gage, who suffered fractures of the transverse process bones in his back, is listed as doubtful for the Tennessee Titans game Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals.

"I'm getting back into the groove of things. I'm getting better day-by-day. It's taking longer than I wanted it to, but what can I do," Gage said.

In addition to Gage, defensive tackles Sen'Derrick Marks (ankle) and Jason Jones (shoulder) will both be listed as questionable after not practicing again on Friday.

Jones did limited work Wednesday and Marks did not practice all week.

"It's still a little sore. It's frustrating not being able to go out there and fight with my teammates, but it's something I can't control right now," said Jones, who has missed three games already with the injury.

Linebackers David Thornton (hip) and Collin Allred (hamstring) were both limited in practice and will be questionable for Sundays' game. Cornerback Cortland Finnegan (hamstring) practiced fully and is probable.
