Purported Obama sex video is a computer virus

If you get an e-mail touting an Obama sex video, don't let curiosity get the best of you, or a virus may get the best of your computer.

The e-mail could come with any of a number of subject lines, including sex video with Obama, Barack Obama hardcore or Obama private porno.

The message claims the Illinois senator and Democratic presidential candidate traveled to the Ukraine last year and got really friendly with many girls there. It has a link to download and view the video, and it encourages you to send this news to your friends.

According to snopes.com, if you take the bait, you won't see an X-rated video clip or anything else. You will, however, be downloading a Trojan horse that can be used to steal your passwords and other sensitive info.

The virus affects Windows-based computer platforms and can be detected and removed by most up-to-date anti-virus software.
