2 Wounded in Intersection Shootout

Phoenix police said they are searching for two gunmen in a silver Ford Mustang who opened fire on three people in a minivan, wounding two, at a Valley intersection on Wednesday.
Officers said three Hispanic men pulled into the parking lot of a Food City store at 43rd Avenue and Thomas Road.
The Mustang with two men pulled up next to them, and two groups exchanged dirty looks, police said.
The three men went into Food City to do their shopping, returned to their cars and left the parking lot, officers said.
The men in the Mustang followed them, according to officers.
Officers said the two men in the Mustang opened fire on the minivan at 51st Avenue and Thomas Road.
The 27-year-old driver was shot multiple times, police said. The 20-year-old passenger in the vehicle was shot once in the left arm. Police said the injuries were non-life-threatening.
A 27-year-old passenger sitting in back of the van was not hit.
