GLENDALE, Ariz. -- Fire crews expected to be on the scene all day Monday of a stubborn four-alarm fire at a recycling business in Glendale.
At the height of the fire, there were some 180 firefighters from throughout the Phoenix metro area battling the blaze. It broke out about 8 p.m. Sunday at the Temple-Inland Inc. facility near 51st Avenue and Colter Street.
The fire was confined to rolls of paper and cardboard and no structures were reported damaged.
There were no injuries.
Temple-Inland is based in Austin, Texas, and manufactures corrugated packaging and building materials.
