CLEVELAND (AP) - The Associated Press has withdrawn its story about a sex offender who lived in a Cleveland house where several corpses were found. Authorities say that despite a police news release that described Anthony Sowell as a convicted rapist, he was convicted only of attempted rape. The story will be refiled as CLEVELAND-BODIES FOUND.

I agree this guy has to be executed...quickly...these victims families shouldn't have to wait years for this animal to be toasted...but, what I don't understand and I watched this on Nancy Grace, is that neighbors complained about this odor for how long? Didn't anyone call to have it investigated...I mean it appears there are houses on boths sides - no one saw, heard, smelled this? My heart goes out to those people waiting to hear if their family members may have been his victims...so sad, and so depraved a society we live in....terrible...

keeps letting these monsters out on the street. Every person that sat on his parole board and voted to let him out should suffer the same fate as his victims. When is this country going to wake up?

But, once proven guilty, the punishment MUST fit the crime. Leniency on convicted criminals just increases the problems. This monster must be executed.
