Karie & Chuck: Which reform is more important: guns or immigration?
![]() |
Following the shooting in Newtown, Conn., the gun control debate has taken stage nationwide and is a daily talking point on many news programs, including our own. One one side, there are victims of shootings and others who want more gun control. On the other, there is the National Rifle Association and others who do not want their Second Amendment rights infringed upon.
When it comes to immigration, it seems there is more unison in recognizing a problem, but confusion on how to proceed. Should the border fence be completed or should policies be enacted that make it easier for illegal immigrants to become citizens? This debate is just getting started, but it's poised to last.
Which reform effort do you think Washington should be focusing on? Let us know in the comments.
