Sick of it

So many dates and details to think about. It makes me sick. But wait. Will that kind of sick be covered by the “affordable” health care plan?
Some of it is in effect already. More will be in January. Tuesday is another deadline day.
And we can’t forget the date that “Obamacare” opponents have told us to circle: The Apocalypse. Yes, that which is already law in the United States may be either the end of days or the end of sickness in America.
It is neither.
It is flawed, untested and a massive bureaucratic question mark. It is also a system by which millions of citizens will no longer fear every pain, every fever, every medical bill.
I will no longer have to resent paying your medical bills because you have no insurance. I do have full coverage health insurance through my employer. Last fall, I spent nearly two weeks in a hospital at a cost of tens of thousands of dollars. Without my family’s coverage, the impact would have dramatically changed our lives.
One question about national health care programs: Are all of the rest of the nations in the industrialized world just stupid?
