N.Y. Quackers

You know, sometimes a story comes along that just needs to be shared. You may have missed it, but last week an incident happened in New York that had nothing to do with the “stop and frisk” laws.
It might never have taken place if Mayor Bloomberg had instituted a ‘stop and shave’ ordinance.
It seems that the Robertson family, stars of the A & E’s “Duck Dynasty,” happened to be in the Big Apple to appear on “Live with Kelly and Michael” to promote the Season 4 premiere of the massive cable success.
If you are among the 12 people who have never seen the Robertsons, they look like mountain men with beards; enough for an entire Amish community. Their show is a smash. They have an entire line of Duck Commander clothing and merchandise.
But New York better start spreading the news because, while the Robertsons were staying at the Waldorf Astoria, they were mistaken for homeless men and escorted out of the building. The “Duck Dynasty” family took it in stride and called it “facial profiling.”
