It looked a little different than it has in the past, but the Arizona Cardinals opened up their annual training camp Friday afternoon.

Instead of the cool pines of Flagstaff, the Cardinals will train at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale.

New head coach Bruce Arians along with new players Carson Palmer, Rashard Mendenhall, John Abraham, Eric Winston, Antoine Cason and other made their first appearance on the turf at UOP.

The Cardinals are gearing up for their preseason opener against the Green Bay Packers August 9 at Lambeau Field. They'll host the Dallas Cowboys and San Diego Chargers in Glendale before wrapping up their preseason schedule August 29 against the Denver Broncos.

The regular season gets underway September 8 on the road against the St. Louis Rams.
