Oscar Talk: The Oscar nominations are out. I'm very pleased to see that Martin Scorsese's "Hugo" scored 11 nominations, including a 'Best Picture' nod. It was well told, well-acted and used 3D the right way. If you haven't seen it yet, pack up the kids and go. "The Artist" scored 10 nominations. Others nominated for 'Best Picture': "The Descendants"; "Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close"; "The Help"; "Midnight in Paris"; "Moneyball"; the family chronicle "The Tree of Life"; and the World War I epic "War Horse." Big Game Sandwiches: Leave it to Food Network to make me want to have a sandwich party. FN has come up a list of Big Game Sandwich recipes. Meaning: These are sandwiches you should take (or serve) at your Super Bowl party. Now, the Monster Muffaletta, Reuben Meatball Sliders and Grilled Cheese With Bacon and Thousand Island Dressing make me drool.
