MCSO raids north Phoenix maid service business

The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office conducted a raid on a north Phoenix maid service business on Wednesday after the agency learned that some of its employees were using false identification to obtain work.

The raid was conducted at the company's headquarters. Two people were arrested and documents and computers were seized.

"ID theft is a terrible problem for its victims who are legal citizens of this country and Phoenix has a bigger than most other cities as it ranks among top cities in the U.S. for the crime of stolen identities," said Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio in a press release.

According to Arpaio, this was the 57th raid since 2008. In total, 574 people have been arrested for using false identification to obtain work and 394 of those were illegal aliens.

    The Obama administration is arresting and prosecuting employers and sending many to prison. That is a verifiable fact. Arpaio is not. Pretending that it doesn't happen really shows a deep, deep denial of the truth. Even the folds at the conservative Federation For American Immigration Reform have no problem posting the many, many employer prosecutions leading to prison during Obama's term. Arpaio, meanwhile, crows about busting a couple of more cleaning ladies.

    The Obama Administration doesn't

    prosecute owners, they just allow a fine to be issued. Most of the time the fines are lowered significantly after attorneys and judges get involved. The DOJ rarely and I mean rarely take any cases unless it looks flashy for the Administration and typically those just result in fines, no prosectuion.

    Obama has been successful at

    creating a revolving door and making a mess of our immigration system, I believe in order to bog it down so bad that it will need to be fixed and amnesty may have to be the solution to fixing it.

    Arpaio isn't the one that has to shut them down,..he is doing what we have elected him to do..find people who are breaking the law ie:using stolen/forged identification, hopefully you will never be a victim of stolen identity. It is an emotional and financial nightmare.
