In the letter, Brewer welcomes Obama to the state and talks about how Arizona, once at the bottom of the list for job creation, is quickly rising in that area and now has a balanced budget.
"I'm proud of that hard-won recovery -- the result of many tough decisions, courage and perseverance," Brewer said in the letter.
Brewer went on to say that, though she and Obama may disagree, they both love their country and she would like to share with him her ideas for getting America back on track.
The letter closed with an invitation.
"And, if course, my offer to visit the border -- and buy lunch -- still stands," the letter read.
It was signed, "With respect, Jan."
