Airplane makes emergency landing in Glendale

Just before 4:30 p.m. Thursday a small, single-engine Cessna 172 aircraft had to make an emergency landing about two miles south east of Glendale Airpark.

The plane landed on a dirt road between two fields and with irrigation ditches on both sides of the road.

No injuries were suffered, and there was minimal damage to the airplane.
