What's it like to lose a child to suicide?
What's it like to have a son so popular, so consistently happy that his friends called him Sunshine? What's it like to have a son who successfully divided his time being a baseball star and a good student?
And what's it like, as the mother of that son, to find, one morning, he shot himself to death. To most, suicide is an incomprehensible act. Teen suicide is even more a mystery.
But a remarkable number of adolescents know someone who has considered it or considered it themselves. The youngest known suicide victim in Arizona was 7. That's why you need to meet this mom.
