Short Takes: Why our police officers should be more appreciated

Mar 5, 2014, 10:52 PM | Updated: 10:52 pm

It was a tough week in the Valley, as a Phoenix police officer was killed in the line of duty.

John Hobbs, a 21-year veteran of the department, was working undercover while serving a felony arrest warrant near 43rd Avenue and Bethany Home Road. A second officer shot in the incident, Albert Jacob Casados, has been released from St. Joseph’s Hospital and is expected to make a full recovery.

Mac Watson, from Mac & Gaydos on News/Talk 92.3 KTAR, gives us his take on why our police officers should be more appreciated.
