Sad news dominates this weeks' trending topics, but I try to leave you on an up note. Here's what you need to know this week:

Nelson Mandela was the first black president of South Africa and he died this week at the age of 95. Very few men will ever live up to his stature and that's something to celebrate.

Paul Walker died in a car crash last weekend. The movie star is said to have been a great person and even anonymously bought an expensive present for a military man's girlfriend.

On a lighter note, Will Ferrell has been everywhere this week as his character Ron Burgundy. All these promotions make me really nervous about the quality of this sequel. I'm hoping it's as good as the first one but we'll have to wait until Dec. 18 to find out.
