Bruce moved to Tucson from Washington D.C. in the 5th grade where he graduated high school and attended the UofA. His radio career took him to Los Angeles (Power 106), San Diego (Magic 95.7) and then to Phoenix (too many stations to list).
Besides being on-air at times, Bruce's main focus has been the behind-the-scenes programming of these radio stations. He has an extensive background in music radio, record production and concert promotion.
Weekends are usually reserved for racing as he owns and drives his own dirt track Sprint Car all over the country and serves on the Executive Board of the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum.
Besides these two great passions (radio & racing), Bruce cares deeply as to the direction of our state and country and looks forward to discussing these topics with you every day from 9 a.m. to noon on News Talk 92.3/KTAR.

Woody Grant and his son David take a road trip to Lincoln, Nebraska so Woody can claim his Mega Sweepstakes Marketing prize. Along the way the pair stops in a small town that Woody grew up in. Here David gets to learn a little bit more about his father.
The movie, Nebraska, has a great story and kept me laughing. I expect to see a few Oscars come from this movie. Bruce Dern was excellent as Woody Grant and is a show in for an Oscar. The characters are great and the story warms your heart. It is a must see!
