Fan confuses Mark Wahlberg for Matt Damon, actor plays along

It’s seemingly easy to confuse Katy Perry and Zooey Deschanel — sure. But Mark Wahlberg and Matt Damon?
Such was the case for one confused fan who spotted Damon on the street and snapped a photo with him — at least she thought it was him, reports Today Entertainment.
“Matt Damon!” Angelique Dormevil yelled.
The alleged Damon was actually 42-year-old Wahlberg. Even better, Marky Mark has a sense of humor and played along.
“He didn’t correct us at all lmao,” Dormevil wrote on Facebook.
Wahlberg eventually got wind of the fan’s Facebook post and decided to re-post it on his own page, along with the caption “Close enough.”
