Fans of Zack Snyder's highly successful film "300" can now catch a glimpse of its sequel, "300: Rise of an Empire."

Warner Bros. released the trailer on Wednesday, which opens with a slow motion scene of Xerxes (Rodrigo Santoro) bearing his sword upon the neck of King Leonidas (Gerard Butler).

The clip gives little insight into the film's plotline, but expect to see more shirtless brawny men, CGI explosions and lots of bows and arrows.

"300: Rise of an Empire" will muscle its way into theaters March 7, 2014.,
