Yanira Maldonado freed from jail in Mexico

An Arizona woman wrongly accused of drug smuggling and jailed in Mexico for a week has been released.
Yanira Maldonado of Goodyear was freed late Thursday in Nogales, after a judge watched surveillance video of her boarding the bus carrying bottles of water, a purse and blankets, and dismissed the charges.
Mexican authorities at a checkpoint had found 12 pounds of marijuana under her seat and arrested her and her husband Gary.
She spoke with the “Today” show.
