Thirty million locusts have swarmed Egypt, causing a mist of unwanted insects around the ancient country.

Though its in the norm for Egypt to have its usual locust swarm, this time the amount of the invaders has intensified, as they cover buildings, structures and appear as a simple dust storm from afar.

    What good do locusts do in this part of the world. Can't think of much other then to become something to eat for some other species. They look to me to be an out of control pest that would be feeding on crops.
