Lawmaker suspected of making lewd remark to underage girl

A Connecticut state representative may soon be in some hot water after he allegedly said a lewd thing to an underage girl.
The 17-year-old was testifying about a state program when she mentioned the use of snakes in a classroom. That's when Connecticut state Rep. Ernest Hewett (D) decided to say, "If you're bashful, I got a snake sitting under my desk right here."
Ya. You shouldn't do that.
