Microsoft has launched an advertising campaign that strives to appeal to the 90s' generation.

According to, Microsoft's new commercial, which features its Surface tablet and most recent Internet Explorer search engine, attempts to attract customers using a number of 1990s objects.

The toys, clothes and accessories in this campaign are considered Microsoft's latest effort to compete with Apple's widely-acclaimed iPad, which is heavily favored by younger users.,
