June’s headlines on our site were dominated by a Mesa high school student who hand-painted her prom dress, turning it into a work of art. A lot of people were also talking about the “hot mug shot guy,” whose photo inspired an Internet meme and a lot of conversations. The month was capped by the news that some federal employees could be charged after it was revealed thousands of illegal immigrants were being dumped in Arizona.
