California man creates beautiful sand murals on beaches

Not all art is created to be saved. Some masterpieces fade away almost as soon as they are finished.

So goes the beautiful, shoreline art of San Francisco resident Andres Amador.

Amador uses nothing but a rake, a rope and wet sand at low tide to create his intricate, geometric "paintings," according to Viralnova.

Amador said he prefers the wet sand at low tide, because it allows him to create pieces using contrasting colors.

While some of his beachscapes are over 100,000 square feet, it still typically takes him only a few hours to create each one.

He also offers his services for marriage proposals and as team building exercises.
