PHOENIX — The Phoenix Zoo will be looking a little brighter on Thanksgiving.
The zoo’s annual holiday light display, ZooLights, is scheduled to begin Thanksgiving night.
ZooLights features more than 700 lighted sculptures amid its numerous animal displays. Some of the zoo’s animals even have a light sculpture of themselves around the zoo.
The zoo said the lights are powered using renewable energy sources, including solar, wind and hydroelectric sources from Salt River Project.
The display boasts 3.7 million lights and is open nightly from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. through Jan. 12. Ticket prices start at $9.
