Not all armed robberies involve a gun.

We're at the Shell station at 54th Avenue and Indian School Road. It's Sunday, Sept. 16, 2012 at 5:00 a.m.

"Two suspects entered the store," said Phoenix Police Sgt. Darren Burch "One of them is going to purchase a cigar, the other is buying some gum. At that point they took out weapons. One had an expandable baton and the other had a bat."

No getaway car was seen.

SOLVED: Burch said the guy acted like a regular customer and ordered some food.

"Everything appeared normal until the time came to pay and the cash register drawer opened."

That's when the man pulled out a Taser and activated it so the cashier could see it's electrical charge.

"He leaned over towards her, she backed-up and he took cash from the register," said Burch.

She wasn't hurt. He took off on foot.
