Google Glass stolen off man's face in Calif.
LOS ANGELES -- Police said a man in a beachfront bar was robbed of his Google Glass on Monday night, the third such crime in California.
The victim told police he was at On The Waterfront Cafe in the Venice Beach neighborhood when two men came up and threatened him with a Taser. He his Google Glass was snatched up along with a laptop computer. No arrests have been made.
The incident comes less than a week after a San Francisco-based reporter said someone stole his Google Glass off his face as he walked in the Mission District.
In February, a woman said she was robbed in San Francisco's Haight-Ashbury neighborhood while wearing Google Glass.
The devices went on sale Tuesday for a one-day event, but previously had been unavailable to the general public.
Google Glass has raised complaints about privacy issues.
