SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Country musician Jake Owen is set to perform at the Coors Light Birds Nest during the 2014 Waste Management Phoenix Open on Thursday, Jan. 30.

The singer is the first act announced for the four day concert series, with other performers being revealed at a later date.

However, tickets are already on sale through Ticketmaster. General admission prices are $35 per night, with VIP tickets for $175.

The announcement comes on the heels of the singer's upcoming fourth studio album, "Days of Gold," which releases Dec. 3. Owen's latest album, "Barefoot Blue Jean Night," peaked at No 1. on Billboard's Top Country Albums charts.

The Waste Management Phoenix Open is the Valley's premiere golf tournament, which takes place at the TCP Scottsdale. The event tees off on Jan. 27 and lasts through Feb. 2.,
