Robin Thicke announces 2014 U.S. tour; Valley fans bummed

Exciting news made by Robin Thicke: The 36-year-old singer will embark on a 2014 U.S. tour with pop star Jessie J and DJ Cassidy.

Unfortunately for Valley fans, you'll have to travel far catch his show, as no Arizona dates made the cut.

The "Blurred Lines" singer teased a "big announcement" on his Twitter Thursday, then revealed the news the following day.

"Excited that I'll be on tour with @JessieJ & @DJCassidy," he tweeted.

According to a statement on Thicke's website, the tour will kick off at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta, Ga., on Feb. 21, then make its way to 14 other cities through spring.

American Express cardholders can buy pre-sale tickets beginning Saturday. Tickets for the public go on sale Sept. 20.

It's unclear if any more tour dates will be added.
