Lady Gaga posted a statement to her 58 million Facebook followers on Friday, revealing the release date and details of a new album called, "ARTPOP."

The release will break a two-year musical hiatus for the 28-year-old singer.

Gaga explained in the statement, "ARTPOP" is a combination of "ARTculture into POP in a reverse Warholian expedition," and will bring a "rage of electronic passion and fury."

In addition to the album, Gaga announced the release of a new app. She describes the technical endeavor as "a musical and visual engineering system that combines music, art, fashion, and technology with a new interactive worldwide community."

The album is set to release on Nov. 11.

In the meantime, "Little Monsters" will get to hear the first single from "ARTPOP" on Aug. 19.,
