Keith Richards bares all in the July issues of Men's Journal, where he describes his rock career, past drug abuse and life on the road. After 50 years spent with the Rolling Stones, he still continues to rock the stage.

Richards, 69, said he doesn't believe the years of substance abuse have had a negative effect on his career. In fact, he believes it benefited his career.

"I've taken a lot more out of alcohol than it's ever taken out of me," he said. "And I kind of feel the same way about the dope and stuff. I got something out of it."

But the rocker said drugs are a thing of the past.

The magazine's July issue hits the stands Friday.
