Valerie Harper danced her last waltz on Monday night's episode of "Dancing with the Stars," after she and professional partner Tristan MacManus were eliminated.
Harper quickly became a fan favorite and inspiration to many for taking on the show while battling cancer.
Her final performance, a waltz to fun.'s "Carry On," was a tearjerker for Kelly Osbourne, whose brother, Jack, is also a contestant.
"It was an opportunity for me to carry a message for folks, not just with cancer, whatever they have, whatever challenge, like our song, 'Carry On, Carry On,'" Harper said.
Harper, who played Rhoda on "The Mary Tyler Moore Show," revealed her terminal cancer diagnosis back in March. Doctors originally gave her three months to live, but as of late August, they say she's close to remission.
