Some of the originals are pushing 50 and know the real real world has a lot less drama then the one on TV.

MTV has renewed its once hit show "The Real World" for a 29th season, and will return to San Francisco 20 years its first visit to the City by the Bay.

The forthcoming "Real World" will be a make-or-break season for the series however, according to Variety.

The unscripted series, which debuted on MTV in 1992, has seen a slump in ratings in recent years.
