Actress Kerry Washington decided not to make a large spectacle out of her recent wedding to an NFL player.
But now that the tabloids have found out about it, her secret is out.
On June 24, the star of ABC's "Scandal" married San Francisco 49ers cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha in Blaine County, Idaho, according to Yahoo!.
Asomugha is a graduate of University of California--Berkeley and played eight seasons for the Oakland Raiders and two with the Philadelphia Eagles before signing with San Francisco in April. The 31-year-old cornerback also has some acting experience, including guest roles on "Friday Night Lights," "The Game" and "Leverage."
Washington, 36, who is also known for performances on the big screen in films such as "Django Unchained" and "Ray," was previously engaged to actor David Moscow but called off the wedding in 2007. Since then, she has kept her relationships out of the public eye.
According to TerezOwens.com, which first dished on the Washington-Asomugha wedding on Tuesday, the couple has been dating since last summer.
