A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...

Well, actually, only 37 years ago, and right on this planet, 20th Century Fox released the first-ever teaser trailer for director George Lucas' "Star Wars."

The trailer, released to the official "Star Wars" YouTube channel, features little dialogue, even less Darth Vader, no John Williams score and a flat narration for two whole minutes.

The iconic "A long time ago..." is never even mentioned or seen scrolling up the screen. Instead, the narrator booms "Somewhere in space, this may all be happening right now," which ultimately -- and obviously -- ends up being scrapped by the time the film is released.

The 'Star Wars' logo is also crude, crafted out of pale blue block letters, rather than the now-classic yellow outline and the letter S's that connect to the 'T' and 'R,' respectively.
