Kurt Warner will be taking his football skills to the big screen. Well, sort of.

According to Deadline, 20th Century Fox has purchased the rights to produce a feature film based on the life of retired Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kurt Warner.

"For so long people have told me my life story would make a great movie," said Warner. "I am humbled and thrilled to have found a team as excited as I am to make that happen."

The Temple Hill-produced film will follow Warner's journey from struggling grocery store clerk to a two-time NFL MVP, who helped lead the Cardinals to Super Bowl XLIII.

Details involving the film's release date or staring actor have not been revealed at this time, but who would you like to see play the NFL star?,
