Forbes magazine recently named Adam Sandler the most overpaid actor in Hollywood (ouch!) after his most recent movie flops helped him bring in a measly $3.40 for every $1 the studio shelled out.
On Thursday, Forbes released the list of Hollywood's Best Actors for the Buck. These are the stars that audiences actually flock to the movie theater to see, and aren't necessarily demanding a big paycheck -- at least not yet. In other words, they give the studios the best return on investment.
This year four out of the top five were women, and Scottsdale's own Emma Stone topped the list. According to Forbes, the actress returns $80.70 for every $1 paid.
In 2013, Stone earned $16 million through movies and endorsements. Maybe next year she can double her income.
