The 51-year-old actor squashed the claims in court documents filed on Tuesday. The documents are part of his $50 million defamation lawsuit against Bauer Publishing, the company who made the accusation in one of their tabloids in 2012, reports People magazine.
"The assertion that I 'abandoned' Suri after my divorce is patently false," Cruise wrote in the documents. "I have in no way cut Suri out of my life -- whether physically, emotionally, financially or otherwise."
Cruise added that he and Suri saw each other during four different months in 2012. While unable to see her during the filming of "Mission: Impossible," he said they still remained "extremely close."
"We spoke on the phone nearly every day, and I regularly asked for and received updates concerning her friends and school life, which I then discussed with her during our regular phone calls.
Suri lives in New York City with her mother, who has primary custody, while Cruise lives in the U.K.
