James Woods has added his name to the short list of right-leaning celebrities.

Less than a week after the government shutdown began, Woods, 66, took to Twitter to vent, blaming the current administration for pretty much everything, including the shutdown, The Huffington Post reports.

In one tweet, Woods refers to the president as a "liar."

When speaking on the immigration rally that occurred on the National Mall Tuesday, just days after WWII vets were denied access to their memorial, Woods tweeted that President Obama was "a true abomination."

The actor's Twitter feed remains very active, rife with links to various news articles. Woods has also been responding to many of his detractors, but has asked for polite discourse from those who differ from him, rather than just "ugly" comments.

One concerned fan asked if he was worried about not ever working in Hollywood again, as right-wing celebrities have often been shunned by their own community.

Woods tweeted back that he didn't expect to work again, adding, "I think Barack Obama is a threat to the integrity and future of the Republic. My country first."

Woods does not appear to be backing off the political rhetoric anytime soon and on his Twitter profile page, he describes himself as "Actor, producer, proud citizen."

Below is a sampling of Woods' recent Twitter activity, including the "true abomination" tweet:
