What happens when you give an interview and declare that you are the best ever at pretty much everything?
Jimmy Kimmel mocks you.
According to Entertainment Tonight, in a recent BBC Radio One interview (Warning: Some language may be offensive), rapper Kanye West declared himself the "number-one rock star on the planet," among other statements, such as a convoluted one about pitching a fashion idea to Fendi, being shot down and then having that idea become popular. Or something.
Kimmel re-created the interview with one of his "Kimmel Kid Re-Kreations," where children act out part of the transcript from a real-life interview.
It was comedy gold, but West was none to happy, and he took to Twitter to vent.
JIMMY KIMMEL IS OUT OF LINE TO TRY AND SPOOF IN ANY WAY THE FIRST PIECE OF HONEST MEDIA IN YEARS— KANYE WEST (@kanyewest) September 27, 2013
JIMMY KIMMEL, I DON'T TAKE IT AS A JOKE…. YOU DON'T HAVE SCUM BAGS HOPPING OVER FENCES TRYING TO TAKE PICTURES OF YOUR DAUGHTER— KANYE WEST (@kanyewest) September 27, 2013
YOU CAN'T PUT YOURSELF IN MY SHOES. YOUR FACE LOOKS CRAZY… IS THAT FUNNY?… OR IF I HAD A KID SAY IT WOULD IT BE FUNNY???— KANYE WEST (@kanyewest) September 27, 2013
SARAH SILVERMAN IS A THOUSAND TIMES FUNNIER THAN YOU AND THE WHOLE WORLD KNOWS IT!!!— KANYE WEST (@kanyewest) September 27, 2013
Kimmel, of course, took to Twitter to respond:
apparently @KanyeWest is VERY VERY ANGRY with me....— Jimmy Kimmel (@jimmykimmel) September 27, 2013
I'll tell you the whole story about @kanyewest tonight on the show - this is not a prank, I promise (unless it's being played on me)— Jimmy Kimmel (@jimmykimmel) September 27, 2013
