Jordin Sparks delivers video message for Grandparents Day
Sunday marks Grandparents Day, a day to celebrate and honor the grandparents in our lives. The holiday actually dates back to 1978.
A group called Caring Across Generations created a campaign for this year's Sept. 8 holiday. Former "American Idol" Jordin Sparks recorded a video message for ET promoting the holiday and talking about her grandparents.
Sparks credited her grandfather for inspiring and pushing her to "American Idol" victory.
Watch the video and remember to get in touch with your grandparents. Sparks encourages you to share stories of your grandparents on Facebook or Twitter and tag your posts with #Granecdote.
