Main Street Minute: Business fair for kids set for Phoenix

Mar 23, 2015, 7:39 PM | Updated: 7:40 pm

KTAR’s Main Street Minute focuses on local businesses that are hiring, opening and hosting events across the community. These stories air each weekday on KTAR at 7:27 a.m.

• Arizona kids will get a chance to learn how do more than just sell lemonade from the sidewalk Saturday at the AZ Children’s Business Fair. The one-day event at the Arizona Center in downtown Phoenix is for 6-to-14-year-olds with business ideas. The showcase runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

• Tru Burger in the Anthem area of Phoenix is hiring. The burger place at Daisy Mountain Drive and Gavilan Peak Parkway is still under construction, but the job open house runs Monday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
