• The Phoenix Business Journal reports a new fitness center is opening near Desert Ridge. Tempe-based Mountainside Fitness will open its new location in February near Tatum Boulevard and the Loop 101. If you sign up by the end if the year, you’ll get discounted memberships and free training sessions.

Bluewater Grill Phoenix makes it easy for fans of the teams playing in both the Fiesta and Cactus bowls to enjoy fresh seafood before, during or after the games. Up to Jan. 5, Bluewater Grill in the Camelback corridor will offer a free cup of its award-winning clam chowder with the purchase of any entrée at regular price.

• Chandler Regional Medical Center is looking to hire nearly 60 people. It is looking for doctors, nurses and case managers.
