Main Street Minute: New store opening at Tempe mall

• A new retailer is coming to Tempe. Hot Topic will open at Arizona Mills Mall next month. The music and clothing store will be located next to Burlington Coat Factory and the Old Navy Outlet.
• Cox Cable is doubling its Internet speed for more than 70 percent of its high-speed customers in Arizona. The upgrades are free, the company said, and will go into effect by the end of the month.
• The Yuma Police Department is hiring. The department is looking for certified police officers and cadets. Applicants must be 21 or older, have a high school diploma or GED and be willing to take a polygraph test to be eligible. There is a six-week window for applying.
