KTAR's Main Street Minute focuses on local businesses that are hiring, businesses that are opening and events across the community. Each weekday these stories air on KTAR at 7:27 a.m. More information can be found below.

The Arizona Nonprofit Academy has launched several business-focused workshops. The workshops will emphasize how to write a press release, the basics of social media and how to bring in sponsors for events. Classes start at about $40, and last around two hours. The first class is Tuesday night.

Another build-your-own-pizza restaurant is coming. California-based Mod Pizza is set to open in Gilbert next month. The 2,400-square-foot location in the San Tan Village shopping center allows customers to build personal pizzas and bake them in just a few minutes.
