KTAR’s Road to Recovery focuses on local businesses that are hiring, new businesses that are opening and events across the community. Each weekday three Road to Recovery stories will air on KTAR at 7:27 a.m. More information on those stories can be found below.

• The Ice Den in Chandler has announced a $3 million renovation project set for summer. The remodel of the former Polar Ice location will include a cafe, Coyotes team shop and retail shop. The Chandler location is hiring. Applications are available online.

• Steak 44, a new upscale steak house, is hiring. The steakhouse, at 44th Street and Camelback Road, needs dozens of culinary team members.

Anyone interested in applying must visit the restaurant between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. before Feb. 13, or Feb. 17-20.

• Scottsdale has been featured as a top destination in a recent edition of British Airways’ High Life Magazine. The magazine reaches 170,000 plane seats every month.
