Arizona-based Go Daddy is a web domain provider that is committed to helping small businesses get online.
But that’s not all they do.
As Go Daddy continues to grow, so does there mission to provide new services and continued social media assistance to customers.
“We got to change gears and show people what it is we do, that we’re really a tech company and that we want to help the small businesses and help you grow from small to giant,” Social Media Operations Manager Alon Waisman said. “That’s what we’re trying to do, and so everything we’re doing behind the scenes and in front of the camera is going to change to show people a different side of Go Daddy.”
The company has added another facility in the Valley, continuing their efforts to stimulate jobs in the community.
“We are growing at just a silly pace,” Waisman said. “We’re starting a new facility in Tempe and we’re really changing how we present ourselves to the world.”
But, even as the company evolves with the times, Waisman maintains Go Daddy is a customer service business at its core.
“We have tools that are helping customers do that and we also have people behind the scenes who are helping our customers understand how to do that better,” Waisman said.
GoDaddy.com Chief People Officer Auguste Goldman concurred with Waisman on the initiatives the company has planned going forward that are tailored to small business entrepreneurs.
“We have a sense of purpose,” Goldman said. “We help those individuals who say you know what ‘I wish I could start a small business. I am in a job today but I have an idea.’ Go Daddy helps those businesses.”
