Most people are aware that Go Daddy is a web domain provider, but few people know what that actually means.
The simple definition is a company that sells web addresses, but Go Daddy is more than that. The Arizona-based company is dedicated to helping small business, said Go Daddy Chief People Officer Auguste Goldman.
“When we say small business we mean the micro-business,” said Goldman. “It may someone mowing lawns, it may be a dentist, a florist, someone who has a passion for doing something but they want to get online.”
Goldman went on to say that Go Daddy doesn’t just help business get online, but develops them an identity using a website, social media and other resources.
But Go Daddy goes even further for their customers. They don’t just push out a product, they want to get to know their customers and make sure their needs are met.
“We try to understand the customer,” said Go Daddy Social Media Operations Manager Alon Waisman.
Go Daddy employs over 2,200 customer service representatives that gauge where the customer is at and how much help they need.
“The first thing — when you get a Go Daddy account — if you need help with anything, you give us a call and we’re actual human beings answering the phone, answering whatever questions that you have,” said Waisman.
