Known as one of China’s Five Great Mountains, the Hua Shan stands 2,160 meters above elevation — giving visitors breathtaking views and the opportunity to take part in a bit of a daunting challenge: the plank walk.
YouTube daredevil Mark Laurence recently tried his hand (with a harness) at the dangerous trail — a narrow, wooden bridge looping around one of Hua Shan’s peaks — and the journey has you on the edge of your seat for all 62 seconds.
Let’s put it this way, Laurence likes to live on the edge…literally.
And thanks to Laurence’s GoPro camera, you can also experience the heart-pounding trek.
You’ll want to stick around for the whole thing. Let’s just say being strapped in didn’t give Laurence enough of a thrill.
